What are the Eligible Criteria is needed for the Delhi Marriage Certification?

  2. The age of the Groom should be more than 21 years.

How to Apply for Delhi Marriage Registration Online

  1. You have to visit the official website of E-District Delhi Website.
  2. You have to register yourself by clicking on the “New User” button available on the Citizen Registration form if you want to access the account for the first Account.
  3. You have to select one document type out of Aadhar Card or Voter ID Card.
  4. Submit the Captcha Code.
  5. Select the Continue option to continue the procedure.
  6. Now, click on the “Registration User Login” option to login into your account by using login credentials.
  7. Click on the option of “Apply for Services”.
  8. Now, you have to search for “Registration of Marriage”.
  9. Select the option of the “Apply” button.
  10. Enter the Date of your Marriage.
  11. Enter your location.
  12. Enter all the personal details of the married couple.
  13. Enter the details of witnesses.
  14. Upload all the required documents for the registration.
  15. Click on the “Submit” option to submit the registration application.
  16. Print out the certify slip on which the Appointment Date is mentioned by Registrar.
  17. Now, you have to visit the Registrar’s Office on mentioned date and time with the necessary documents and witnesses.
  18. After completing this procedure of Marriage Registration, you’ll get your Marriage Certificate

How to Apply For Delhi Marriage Registration offline?

Documents required for offline registration of Marriage:

  1. Date of Birth Certificate
  2. Ration Card
  3. 2 Passport size Photographs
  4. Photograph of your Marriage
  5. Invitation Card of your Marriage
  6. In case of a Divorcee, you have to submit the attested copy of the Divorce Decree
  7. In the case of Widow/Widower, you have to submit the death certificate of your Spouse.
  8. You have to submit the Affidavit from both of the parties Marriage Date, Date of Birth Certificate, Stating Place, Marital Status, and Nationality at the time of Marriage.

How to Apply for Offline Delhi Marriage Registration?

  1. You have to visit the official website of E-District Delhi Website.
  2. You have to go to the section “Home and Community”.
  3. Click on “Marriage Certificate and Registration”.
  4. Now, you can see the new page of “Application Form” you have to click on it to register your marriage under Hindu Marriage Act.
  5. Select the “Click here” button to register.
  6. Download and fill in all the details in the Application Form.
  7. Take out the Application Print out with all the necessary documents and witnesses while going to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate.
  8. In the case of Registration under the Hindu Marriage Act or the Special Marriage Act, your document will be verified and the date of appointment will be fixed and also contacted to the parties. 
  9. Both parties have to available after circulating the public notice of inviting objections.
  10. If there is no objection submitted in the registration office then after 30 days, the procedure of Marriage Registration will be done.

How to Download Marriage Registration Certificate?

  1. You have to visit the official website of E-District Delhi Website.
  2. Select the option “Print/Download Certificate” to print out the registration application.
  3. Select the name of the Applied Department.
  4. You have to provide the date of birth certificate and application number.
  5. Enter the Captcha Code.
  6. Click on the Continue option to continue.
  7. Now, you can see the new page of the Certificate on the screen.
  8. Click on the “PRINT” option to print out the application form.

How to Track Your Registration Application?

  1. You have to visit the official website of E-District Delhi Website.
  2. Click on the TRACK option to track the registration application.
  3. Select the name of the applied department.
  4. Enter your Application number.
  5. Enter the name of the Applicant.
  6. Enter the Captcha code.
  7. Click on the Search option.
  8. Now, you can track the application of registration.
